The great thing about selling on Mama’s Marketplace is that you can start small with the free-to-list everyday plan, selling toys, baby items and clothes as you no longer need them. What we ask from you as a seller, is that you give the most honest description and detailed photos about your items to avoid disappointment from both parties.

Let’s keep these transactions easy, safe & straight forward. As a nation, we are already time-poor and would rather spend time with our children than messing around with disappointed customers.

We know that kids are messy. Clothes may have stains, toys may have broken parts and cots may have bite marks! Your buyers want to know! Please price your items to reflect any imperfections. As long as they are in a good and most importantly safe condition, sellers are free to sell anything in the following categories:

- Free

- Bundles

- Prams

- Carriers

- Girls Boutique

- Boys Boutique

- Maternity & Postpartum

- Toys

- Furniture

- Nursery

- Manchester

- Feeding

- Bath Time

- Safety

Sellers Responsibilities

- You agree that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sterilised if necessary

- To your best knowledge all items are in a good and safe condition to be re-used

- You agree to be honest about your items

- Once a shopper has purchased your item, you are obligated to post the item to the customers address.

To keep the Mama’s Marketplace community safe, we have strict guidelines on what can and cannot be sold. While it may not be illegal to buy these items on other sites, the Mama’s Marketplace recommends buying these items NEW to ensure your kids and babies are receiving the best possible quality of such important necessities.

- Car seats

- Used bottles/teats/breast pump parts (older than 6 months)

- Formula/baby food (opened and unopened)

- Known faulty electrical items

Once you’ve set up your Mama’s Marketplace account you can create listings for your items straightaway!

Once you’ve created your listing, one of our administrators will approve your listing within 24 hours.

Mama’s Marketplace currently uses payment provider Paypal to ensure safe and efficient money transfer from shopper to seller. If you don’t currently have a Paypal account, setting up an account is easy, head here for more information. https://www.paypal.com/au/

Unless items on the sellers listing are advertised as New and unused, we want all our buyers to understand the expectations of second-hand purchases. While we ask the sellers to be as descriptive as possible and to upload lots of photos, items have been used and worn. If you are unsure about a future purchase, you are able to message the seller for additional photos via the item listing.

Once you have purchased your item, we ask that you check your item thoroughly and make sure it is as advertised on the sellers listing. We ask that you check all baby and kids items for any faulty or broken parts to ensure it is in safe condition for your child before using it. As always, it’s the parents responsibility to ensure small toys are kept away from children under 3.

How much and how long will shipping take?

Due to most families having incredibly busy lives, we are currently only giving regular postage options on Mama’s Marketplace.

Can I collect?

Yes! All sellers will have the option to allow collection and/or postage.

What if I don’t receive my item?

We advise all our sellers to add tracking to any shipping to avoid any lost post. Please ask the seller for tracking details.

What if the item is not as described or faulty?

You will need to contact the seller to see if they will accept your return within 3 days of receiving your item. The seller will also need to reply within 3 business days. If the issue is not resolved, we advise you to contact Paypals Resolution centre here. https://www.paypal.com/au/

What if I change my mind?

Please check the listing carefully whether a change of mind return will be accepted. If your return is accepted, you will need to return the item/s at your own cost. The refund will be for the item amount (not including shipping)
